1. เปิดกล้องขณะติดเลนส์ตามปกติแล้วตั้งค่ารูรับแสงที่ต้องการให้เรียบร้อย

2. กดปุ่มเช็คชัดลึกค้างไว้แล้วทำการปลดเลนส์ออกทันที ขนาดรูรับแสงจะค้างไว้ตามค่าที่ตั้งเอาไว้ เสร็จแล้วจึงทำการปิดกล้อง

3. ใส่ท่อมาโครเข้าที่ตัวกล้องแล้วใส่เลนส์ต่อจากท่อมาโคร แล้วใช้งานได้ทันที

วิธีการตั้งค่ารูรับแสงสำหรับกล้องที่ไม่มีปุ่มเช็คระยะชัดลึก

1. เปิดกล้องขณะติดเลนส์ตามปกติ ตั้งค่ากล้องเป็นโหมดมานวล

2. ตั้งค่ารูรับแสงที่ต้องการให้เรียบร้อย ตั้งสปีดชัตเตอร์ 5 วินาที

3. กดปุ่มชัตเตอร์เพื่อถ่ายภาพ กล้องจะนับถอยหลัง 5 วินาทีก่อนถ่าย ระหว่างนี้ให้ทำการปลดเลนส์ทันทีภายใน 5 วินาทีนี้ แล้วรูรับแสงจะค้างตามที่ตั้งค่าไว้ แล้วจึงทำการปิดกล้อง

4. ใส่ท่อมาโครเข้าที่ตัวกล้องแล้วใส่เลนส์ต่อจากท่อมาโคร แล้วใช้งานได้ทันที

หมายเหตุ กล้องรุ่นที่มีปุ่มเช็คชัดลึกสามารถใช้วิธีนี้ได้เช่นกัน
